Opal DEX is a decentralized exchange protocol that enables privacy-first perpetual futures trading. The Platform provides:
- Private order placement and execution
- Decentralized perpetual futures trading
- Reward distribution to OPAL token holders
- Non-custodial trading infrastructure
3. Risk Disclosure
Trading digital assets involves substantial risk and may not be suitable for all investors. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Digital asset prices are highly volatile and unpredictable
- Leveraged trading can result in significant losses
- You may lose all or more than your initial investment
- Past performance does not guarantee future results
- Regulatory changes may affect platform availability
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. The Platform is not available to residents of certain jurisdictions where digital asset trading is prohibited. You are responsible for complying with your local laws and regulations.
5. Non-Custodial Nature
Opal DEX is a non-custodial platform. You maintain full control of your private keys and digital assets at all times. We do not have access to, custody, or control over your funds. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet and private keys.
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Manipulate markets or engage in wash trading
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
- Use automated systems that negatively impact platform performance
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
7. Platform Availability
We strive to maintain platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from platform downtime.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opal DEX and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to trading losses, data loss, or business interruption.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Opal DEX and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these terms.
10. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
